God Uses Imperfect People
If you’ve ever felt unqualified, unworthy, or too messed up for God to use—you’re not alone. The good news is:
God uses imperfect people.
The Bible is full of them.
-
Moses had a stutter.
-
David committed adultery.
-
Peter denied Jesus.
-
Paul persecuted Christians.
And yet, God used every one of them to do powerful things for His glory. Why? Because God doesn’t call the perfect—He perfects the called.
2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Your flaws don’t disqualify you—they create space for God’s strength to shine through. He doesn’t need your perfection, just your yes.
So stop waiting until you’ve “got it all together.” God can use you right where you are, in the middle of your mess, your healing, your growth. Your story, scars, and setbacks might be the exact tools He uses to reach someone else.
You don’t have to be perfect to have a purpose.
You just have to be willing.
